On Monday, March 2nd, Lorri took Peyton to a Low Vision Specialist, based on a recommendation from Peyton’s Occupational Therapist. The news we received was incredible. Peyton can see! During the last 5 years, we were given vague information regarding her eyesight up to blindness. The doctor shared that Peyton can see black and white shapes out of her left eye (about 6 inches away from her) and about 30% vision in her right eye, which Peyton uses to also track (something else she hasn’t done before). This was overwhelming for us to hear. Our little girl can see us – up close – but can see us! We have been asked so many times “do you think it is the Stem Cells” and we can’t say for sure. All we care about now is continuing down this road to provide Peytie with the best care and therapy to give her the quality of life she so deserves. Thank you again to all of you who have helped with Peyton’s care!

Since Peyton's 2nd treatment, she is really shining, and you can see it in this photo! Her nastagmus is almost literally gone, her seizures have diminished to almost gone and she is making just a ton of talking sounds (really trying to talk). At school, she is eating ALL of her lunch, standing for more than 2 HOURS (before, only would stand for 35 min), and having more interaction with her teachers and therapists. Those little stem cells are working! Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for her and those who have helped with her cause. Look what its doing!!! Thank you!
